Review on Glock Field Knife Fixed Battlefield by Richard Surveh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Survival Blade

This is a quality knife! Leave it to the Glock to make it high quality and affordable; All at the same time. A few things that aren't immediately apparent. The handle is hollow. Easy access by prying the plug. I saw a guy on the internet offering to hold a small nail in the pen. Worst case you could nail the knife to the pole; and use it like a spear. A small hole has been made for this directly under the cap. The knife was sharp, but nothing more. I took a 3 inch dog bone ceramic grinder and worked on 1095 steel for about 45 minutes. The shave is sharp. One thing in the description that I'm not sure about is correct. The coating is listed as black oxide. Don't think it is. . It's more of an enamel color. Nothing to worry about really, but still. The sheath has the most secure locking mechanism I have ever seen on a production knife. Worth the very modest price. I'll get a few more in different colors. If, like me, you hesitate a few years. Do not worry. Besides, Revain will be behind it anyway. Spend a few dollars and enjoy a quality product.
