I connected an outside speaker system to an inside stereo, I ran a red and white audio cable out into the yard to connect the headphone jack adapter. Use for people's iPhones and iPods and the like, but with protective cases, many of these cables wouldn't fit without removing the case, or those who played music had to leave their phone. This device connects to a cable, requires either a USB power source or a wall outlet that includes the cable and adapter, and is very easy to connect. Just press the silver button on top until it flashes and save up to 5 devices, so you can play anywhere within pretty good range of the device, so perfect for hanging out in the garden or by the pool, checking messages and using it the phone and change the music instead of going to the device. I highly recommend if you need a Bluetooth device to connect to the white-red wire.
