I bought the G85 to upgrade my GX7. I initially struggled with the system switch as I like the Fuji form factor and Sony engine; In the end I decided on the M4/3 because of the size: I can pack two bodies, 5 lenses and everything else I need into a Think Tank Trifecta 8 and get started. Key features that made me choose this camera: - Weatherproof: The included lens is weatherproof like some other Oly/Pana lenses. Put one on and get as close as possible to this waterfall. - IBIS: pair this camera with one of the wide open Voigtlanders and you can easily take night photos - 4K photo mode: great for kids, shoot 4K for a second and you're ready to snap a photo - Electronic viewfinder: HUGE upgrade from GX7, bright and beautiful - Ergos: feels comfortable in the hand and is firmly built - Buttons have a solid, reassuring feel - Enhanced shutter and AF photos get noisy at high ISOs, and you can't snap RAW photos at 12fps fast. You can clean up the first in Lightroom and get by with the second 4K photos. Highly recommended
