Pies are successful because they are heated from both below (in the oven) and above (in the microwave). Mistakes on the sensor are a separate drawback. This is probably why I only use the app on my phone to cook occasionally. Of course, not everyone can afford it because of how pricey it is. My spouse complains that he is beginning to improve on my pies.
