This is a great replacement for the old clear bulbs in my master bathroom. I needed 24 bulbs so I waited until the prices were low enough that I could afford to swap them all out. I was a bit worried about how they would compare to the old incandescent bulbs but I'm very happy with the result. Since the power consumption of LEDs is significantly lower, I was also able to add a dimmer, which is a great addition. I used a 400W Leviton TSM10-1LW toggle slide universal dimmer, which works great too. These bulbs are a soft white but definitely bright enough for a vanity mirror, the lack of heat is very noticeable and they look great. Nice upgrade.
