This voltage tester works better than other brands I've had. This is the second model I have purchased from this manufacturer. Easy to use, no on/off switch. When it detects a voltage field, it beeps and lights up. With all these voltage testers, you need to know when they might be lying to you. As with all of this, it will sometimes tell you the power is on when it isn't. It can pick up static electricity or sense current from a wire near it. Even if your circuit shares the neutral wire with another circuit, it can detect this. Never trust any of them. THESE DETECTORS SHOULD NOT BE USED IN HOUSEHOLDS.
