Review on Norpro Cast Iron Bacon Press with Wood Handle - High-Quality and Round by Kendra Parker

I love this press. It's nice and heavy as you would expect. The wooden handle heats up, but does not heat up. One thing that surprised me but shouldn't have done. Well, I have a cast iron skillet. Of course I preheat it. When I first tried the press, I placed it in a pan and preheated it along with the pan. The burger was fried on both sides. Oh, I flipped it and let the other side cook for a minute, but gosh, that cut down on the cooking time. Another nice plus that I wasn't expecting. Using a press virtually eliminates spattering. I've considered getting a mudguard or screen, but now I think I'll refrain from doing so. The press doesn't stick to hamburgers. I haven't tried it with bacon yet, but I'm looking forward to it again. Love it, will buy again etc.)
