These flameless LED candles were purchased with the intention of using them in windows for the holidays. They are a great, versatile and economical option and I am impressed with their installation. My previous cheap locally bought window candles were actually dangerous to use due to a design flaw that caused two of them to short out the batteries, fry the circuit board and get very hot. These CXMYKE candles seem much safer and better designed and I'm not worried about leaving them behind the curtains on my windows. Luckily I was able to repurpose my existing gold plastic candle holders with suction cups for these new LED candles. I prefer them, although the included suction cups seem to fit as well. The only negative point that prevented me from giving a 5 star rating is that the color temperature of the LEDs and the brightness of the candles do not match. Some are noticeably yellower than others. That doesn't bother me much though, as they still look good from the street. I would like to echo the advice from other reviews to adjust the candle settings with the remote and start the timer with all the candles before putting them back in. The fact that RF receivers are built into the candles is amazing at this price point, and the remote control really is a game changer. Pros: - Versatile mounting options (clamps, spikes, suction cup mounts included and also fits a 3/4" spark plug mounts) - Can be used outdoors (wind and water proof) - No flame or fragile glass bulbs - Half batteries required (1 x AA each) - rechargeable NiMH batteries work flawlessly so far - safer design than my previous LED candles - remote control works well - flickering or stable operation - adjustable brightness - good workmanship Cons: - variable color temperature of the LEDs - only one timer- Interval option (6 hours on and 18 hours off)
