Nice piece, firm but unusually small. Not for pureeing, but can be good for "crushing "
Here is a photo of this item compared to another, more traditional size. Aside from the base of the other bowl, this bowl is easily half the depth of the larger and more traditional bowl, making it less useful for chopping garlic, ginger, and seeds. Everything will jump out of the bowl. Basically it's only good for breaking or crushing soft things when breaking things isn't that important. Of course, if you have a lot of time, it works great by putting less effort into not jumping out of things.
