This product was terrible on my first try. Didn't get a spark, could barely burn after I lit it with a butane lighter. It would be 1/5 if the increasing rarity of military trioxane didn't make me look for alternatives. And helped me put two and two together and REALLY reduce TINDER like a human. After that discovery, it was a great product. Requires a spark for ten hits of the ferrorod (for each) when fully collapsed and nested. It burns for a surprisingly long time for its heat and makes starting a fire a breeze. After Fatwood (for sustainability reasons), Fatrope is the Tinder I recommend when asked.
