I took the hammer out of the box and it was covered in what appeared to be a combination of oil and metal fragments from the handcrafted surface of the hammer. The hammer head was uneven with obvious grinding marks and the finish was uneven. The bottle opener had obvious traces of a forging process. I'm a part-time knife maker, so I know what it takes to finish your job. This was not done here. I bought 2 of these to give as gifts but I couldn't give someone something so poorly made. I returned them. I will give Revain a plus for how well they handled the return.
