It took about 5 minutes for the controller to work with my TV and Roku 3. Some other reviewers said it doesn't work with Roku 3. but I didn't have any problems. You must have line of sight to the Roku and the TV for it to work. As already mentioned, the middle keys are very close together, but that's not the deciding factor for me. Also, there is no working back button on Roku 3. I tried every button on this remote control. There's a menu button that sends you back to the home screen, but it's inconvenient to return to the home screen when you just want to go back to the previous screen. If it had a back button for Roku it would be a solid 4.5 stars. But that's not the case.
