Amazing machine for the price

This is probably the most versatile TIG welder you can buy for this price. You absolutely can't beat this machine for the price AND it comes with a 2 year warranty! Safely assembled, beautifully and carefully packaged, it comes with everything you need to start welding except for the usual consumables. I like the fact that the fans go HIGH as soon as the machine is turned on. Other inverters wait for the fans to turn on once the transistors start pumping heat into their heatsinks. I mean for reliability, why wait? Fans are easier to swap out than IGBTs :) This machine does just that, using high current to keep you cool at all times. I bought this machine primarily for welding less than 3/8 inch thick aluminum and stainless steel component fabrication materials. On a trackday car like exhaust and turbo piping Adjustable A/C duty cycle (if you want to call it EN/EP shifting or scavenging), A/C amp pulse and A/C frequency are an absolute dream on aluminum I've never used a car with this A/C control capability before, how was life up to an adjustable A/C frequency above 60Hz lol. Level of adjustability throughout the process from start to finish (this is how the front of the car is adjusted, you know exactly which adjustment affects which part). process courtesy of LEDs moving with arrow keys) is something I don't even know I would appreciate until you realize how easy it makes menu navigation. Haven't glued it on yet as I also use MIG for most other general projects but I'm pretty sure it works as intended, the power supply which is the main component works fantastic. There was a note in the box stating that the foot pedal that actually came with the machine (without the current controller on the pedal) was in reserve. They provided the machine with an adjustable amperage pedal for me to use and THEN sent me the original intended pedal a few weeks later. Would you like to talk about problems, concerns and smooth service? This company goes above and beyond for this price. Seriously, this was one of the best customer service experiences I've had with online orders. So far everything has exceeded all expectations. As mentioned at the beginning of this post, this machine comes with everything you need to start welding, except for the usual consumables. I would suggest getting a gas lens kit for cleaner stainless steel welds if stainless steel is what you're looking for. If you use this machine a little more frequently or are a pro who wants a good all round machine for home use the ONLY thing you would like to add/change to this package is maybe the work clamp cable length and installing a slightly smaller TIG -burner size. The torch handle supplied with this device is quite large and difficult to hold in a traditional hand position such as a pencil or chopstick. If you have good gloves and a TIG finger, over time you will learn to just work with it. The sheath around the flashlight cords/wires is made of high quality silicone and the end of the flashlight has a ball joint to relieve stress on the cords at the end of the flashlight body. To be honest this is a well built burner for casual use. Right now I have about 8 hours of work on this unit and I almost burned a 300CF argon tank. I ran about 150 feet of 4043 and 5356 3/32 aluminum wire and about 30 feet of 308L 3/32 stainless steel just to sew and play around with the settings to see how certain features affect the quality of the weld. Eventually you will find your sweet spots! I'm already planning to cut a cake for my exhaust haha. Overall: great car, great customer service, one happy customer. Thank you for making such a feature rich device available to the public at such a price!
