I was very happy to receive them and my halogen too replace lightbulbs. Unfortunately, when I installed the second one, I found that they hadn't glued the heatsink to the lightbulb. This is a big problem as you have to use the heatsink as a handle to rotate the lightbulb into position. And it also seems to be used to close electronics. If you remove the cooler, you can see all the cables. However, I'm a bit excited so I think I'll just stick it back on and then install once it cures. First night of testing - I was very happy with the output. The light is nice and bright, and the whiter color (I think) makes it easier to see the road. 2nd day of testing - go to work. Now I have the radio on (it was off the first night the kids were with me so we could talk) and I can't understand why there is so much noise this morning. Then I realize it could be lightbulbs. It's sunrise, so I manually turn off the lights (I just installed Sealight LED headlights and fog lights) and the noise IMMEDIATELY went away. Turn on the light, the noise is back. I repeated this several times to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I'm an engineer and I work for a very large automotive supplier. We test the EMF (electromagnetic frequency) of all our components to ensure they don't emit magnetic waves that interfere with other vehicle electronics. Obviously, Sealight didn't bother with that move. Obviously their LED lights emit significant EMF. Sample. You have a good distance from the radio and its problems. Which other engine electronics are affected? Tonight I'm going to take these bulbs out and send them back. A NOTICE. This was on a 2012 F150 with a 3.5L Ecoboost engine.
