Review on 🎧 Telex Airman 8 ANR Headset with Dual General Aviation Plugs by John Contreras

Terrible product - absolutely not recommended! I'm a commercial Boeing 737 pilot who was flying my trusty old Telex 750 for about 6 years when the wires eventually frayed and failed. When I was looking for a replacement I found a Telex Airman 8 that appeared to reinforce the areas of wire that were failing on my original purchase. My first impressions of the Telex Airman 8 were positive and I feel that the Airman 8 has minor improvements over the old 750 series. However, after only 6 months of use the entire headset stopped working. No reception, no transmission. Unless I really shake my head. There is a short somewhere where the wire harness enters the ear cup. By the way, I always keep my headset in a case and treat it with care. Pros: light, convenient. Cons: Noise cancellation isn't very impressive. The quality and durability did not meet my expectations as a commercial pilot. Telex customer service does not exist. Most disappointing is Telex's customer service. Your warranty redirects you to the Bosch website which redirects you to other websites that end up endlessly looking for help. Conclusion: WE STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
