After a local dealer offered $70 to replace the cabin air filter I decided to take the risk myself. As someone who has never dealt with their car before, it was easy. I loosened a few screws, removed the glove box, then the air filter. I'm happy to say that I swapped it out in less than half an hour with no problems and saved myself a lot of money. My air conditioner no longer has that awful smell. I would definitely recommend anyone considering replacing their own and saving money. If you don't know how to do it, Google will be your best friend. Excellent air filter. I'll buy again when the time comes.
