I managed (finally!) to connect my MacBook Pro 13" 2016 with four Thunderbolt 3 ports to my Korean 27" monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1400 join! It's been a long road friends I've tried and failed with so many adapter and cable combos and finally this is the Amiroko USB-C to Mini Displayport Adapter + Apple Mini Displayport to Dual Link DVI adapter + my existing USB-C (Thunderbolt 3 ) to USB hub/splitter adapter. = SUCCESS. What didn't work: 1. USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) to DVI Adapter 2. DisplayPort to Single Link DVI-D Adapter 3. Apple Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter A1305 It seems that Apple is no longer releasing the Apple Mini Displayport on Dual Link DVI Adapter. I found mine used one stealing online!
