The Best Pastel Pencils for Detailing
These are excellent pens especially for drawing details. If you have never used them I would suggest watching YouTube videos so you understand how they work. The consistency of the lead is harder than other pastels, allowing the lead to last a bit longer, but they blend easily. Also, the cores are more durable, allowing for less breakage when sharpening. The wooden case is softer, making them easy to sharpen with a stationery knife or hand sharpener. Colors remain very natural and do not become cloudy or dull when styled. I use them with pastel sandpaper.
