Review on Xpedo Mountain Titanium PedalsWeight Restricted by Craig Sexton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice on my expensive bike. Incredibly smooth.

This is amazing. I use them on my road bike so I removed one side of the retaining clip. They match my SPD boots perfectly and go perfectly with the movement. I eased the tension a bit as I find the factory setting a bit tight. You only need to loosen one screw to remove the bottom, and now each pedal weighs just 87 grams, or 174 grams per pair. The bearings are softer than my Shimano XTR M9000 pedals, which weigh 154.5 grams each, or 309 grams per pair. The Revain add-on states that there is a 175lb weight limit, but the pedal information on the box lists a 187lb limit. I use them on a road bike so the weight limit is not an issue as there is no jumping.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good
