No regrets - pedals and cleats

Very light. Easy customization. Easy entry and exit. For my 145#tTi this is the logical choice. The retention system is similar to the S. The bearings are very smooth. I have several kits with about 3,000 miles on them with no issues. Recommend.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Amazing pedal so far

Shimano SPD entry pedal, this pedal is light years ahead. Aside from a small saving, my foot feels really connected to the bike. It's a really nice fit and click (maybe I need to get used to it first) but it stays on very well with just the right amount of float for me. I'll report any changes, but when I'm racing here in SoCal I'm very happy with it.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons

Excellent light weight pedals

These pedals ride BMX several days a week with our seven year old son. Before that he used Shimano 540 pedals, which are good simple clipless pedals, but they are heavy. These pedals are approximately 220g or 8oz lighter than previous pedals. At a spinning weight of 9.5 pounds, that's a huge reduction! He loves the wearing comfort and we are very satisfied with the quality.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Crumpled

So far so good for the sport

I am a total weight loser so if I can lose weight I will lose weight. I bought them because they are a bit lighter than Shimano Ti pedals. I tried to wait to see how they wear. I've had it for 8 months now and no problems so far. I live in Arizona so they have a lot of rock hits and they still work like new. I have Shimano Ti pedals that have lasted over 20 years so let's look at durability.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Nice on my expensive bike. Incredibly smooth.

This is amazing. I use them on my road bike so I removed one side of the retaining clip. They match my SPD boots perfectly and go perfectly with the movement. I eased the tension a bit as I find the factory setting a bit tight. You only need to loosen one screw to remove the bottom, and now each pedal weighs just 87 grams, or 174 grams per pair. The bearings are softer than my Shimano XTR M9000 pedals, which weigh 154.5 grams each, or 309 grams per pair. The Revain add-on states that there is a

Light, strong and durable

I bought this over 6 months ago and have put it on about 2500 miles. I've banged them against rocks and roots a few times expecting to find damage given the light weight, but haven't found any at all. The bearings are still like new, no play. They have cartridge bearings which seem to be a better design than free floating ball bearings. Therefore, they are much lighter, stronger and more durable. The only issue some might have is that the clipping is a bit different once you're used to SPDs. I…
