I bought this scanner with high hopes that it would end my paper clutter. Although I like the concept, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Obviously, NEAT Receipts is the future. Who wants to mess with manually entering check after check? And wouldn't it be nice to be able to throw away all those paper files? But the weakest point was the scanning. In particular, receipts were often read incorrectly or receipts that had already been classified, such as e.g. B. Singapore's "Comfort Cab" receipts were not recognized as taxi fares, so too often you had to manually correct scans. And it was also a slow scanner. As I said, I'd really like to fall in love with NEAT Receipts, so I'll keep an eye on improving the software, but for now, I recommend you keep entering receipts into the spreadsheet manually. . It's much faster. :(
