I was disappointed by how weak most commercial tablet cutters are. There are some good ones that cost a little more than these stainless steel side cutters. But they are easy to clean with soap and water. But more importantly, I have very precise control (use your other hand to hold back bits that might fly away), great leverage (very comfortable, light) and I don't think they ever break or break. wear! I am very happy with them and have now bought several pairs. I've just read one of the other reviews which suggests they can't be good because they're magnetic. Three out of five families of stainless steel are magnetic. Because it's magnetic, you know it's not austenitic stainless steel, which can't be hardened (hardening an austenitic steel requires a process that transforms the steel into a different type of stainless steel that is no longer austenitic). Glad to know the buyer found a magnet stuck to them.
