Pros Yarn Winder is great for small amounts of yarn

Pros Yarn Winder is great for small amounts of yarn. (4 ounces or less in my opinion). It's very quick and easy to use. It makes perfectly stackable balls of yarn with a center draw for my leftover yarn from previous projects. It is addictive. :) The price is unbeatable. Neutral The product did not come with any instructions at all, but with a little help on the internet I was able to find a video on how to use it. Cons: The yarn sometimes slips around the skein and gets under the skein in the winding mechanism and gets caught making it difficult to unravel. The yarn is NOT intended to be used with yarn over 4 oz (in my experience), as it causes more slippage. Yarn and more skeins An extended wire/metal arm that thread thread through helps to wind it up, it keeps falling creating more knots under the winder. (As long as you constantly make sure it's upright, that's fine, but annoying). In summary, this is a great beginner/beginner wrapping yarn; but not for advanced knitters who need to use it constantly and with lots of yarn. but annoying). but not for advanced knitters who need to use it constantly and with lots of yarn. but annoying). but not for advanced knitters who need to use it constantly and with lots of yarn. it keeps falling and creating more knots under the winder.
