I am a graphic artist and love pencils. I worked with different pencils from different manufacturers. kretacolor, prism, kohinoor, lira, derwent. but for me faber is the best. the basis of pencils, color mixing, softness is what you need (the prism is much softer, which is not always a plus), sharpening, glued lead, the ability to find one by one. Perfect!
