Bought specifically for karaoke. The ones we used before weren't wireless and didn't sound very clear. They pick up sounds quickly and clearly. They have some heaviness because they are metal and have batteries, but that suits me. They come with a very practical plastic case. Setup was ridiculously easy. Plug it into the wall, connect it to the sound system/speakers, press the power button, then turn on the microphones and make sure the channels match and boom, it's time to sing or talk. I bought mic sleeves to keep saliva and dust from damaging them. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.
