I have never had or used a buffer. I have experience with manual detailing of cars. I found this buffer surprisingly easy to use. The battery-powered wireless feature is really useful when you don't have access to an electrical outlet. Of course, the cable doesn't bother me. The puffer is lightweight, suitable for all strength levels, very easy to control, variable speed and easy to change pads. The battery lasted 1 1/2 mid-range cars for me. Thus, two batteries worked perfectly to cover two cars. The entire kit includes a variety of pads, pad cases, micro wipes, etc. Just find your favorite liquid wax or cleaning wax! I love this buffer!
