Review on Mayouko Socket Sockets Removing Installing by George Mendoza

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good for the price.

Most of us who have worked with engines are familiar with spark plug heads. They are longer than most and thanks to the use of a rubber insert they prevent the fork from breaking with the tool. As well as preventing the sides of the spark plug from hitting the socket, this insert will hold the spark plug in place or should hold it while you remove and then replace the spark plug. This is an important feature of the tool as it prevents the spark plug from falling to the ground and being damaged. On modern engines, the spark plug is located deep in the intake manifold and is very difficult to remove without a socket that can pinch the spark plug. Tool on my lawnmower, Ford Fusion and my Honda motorcycle. The tool was able to clamp the Fusion fork, but the mower was slightly loose. The fork of the bicycle fell out. The ability to hold the plug in the socket is a key feature and due to the faulty tooling I'm only giving it 3 stars.

Pros
  • The hex hole mates snugly with the spark plug hex nut to allow maximum torque application.
Cons
  • Blank
