I got her to double down on the problem we were having with the door fireworks in our house. She can't open or close a door without shaking it until the handle is fully open, and she can't close it by turning the handle to make it quieter or without slamming it into the crack in the door . Your room and bathroom are one room down a tiled hallway from our bedroom. All day and all night she will go out of her room, to her bathroom, out of the bathroom, to her room (no kidding, I counted her daily) 15-20 every day and night. We bought some parts for the door handle mechanisms but there was still noise because we have hollow core doors. These strips are so thin and "soft" that they don't interfere with the closing of the door! They are permanently attached to the door, but can easily be moved if necessary. Once I put them on the right doors, hooray! No more noise! She knocks for pleasure and cannot make a noise that disturbs the rest of the household. I put them on all the door frames for a quiet home and I LOVE them!
