Too long to protect my dog.
Too long. My dog could still crash into the dashboard if I had an accident, even if it was as brief as possible. An additional problem is that it will not stick to this shortest length. The material it is made of is so smooth and slippery and the adjusters are also smooth so they don't stick to the line material at all. Simply pulling it will make it longer. The whole point of this thing is to protect my dog in case of an accident, at least that's what I thought, but it's not like that at all. I bought two for both vehicles and sent both back.
