Too long to protect my dog.

Too long. My dog could still crash into the dashboard if I had an accident, even if it was as brief as possible. An additional problem is that it will not stick to this shortest length. The material it is made of is so smooth and slippery and the adjusters are also smooth so they don't stick to the line material at all. Simply pulling it will make it longer. The whole point of this thing is to protect my dog in case of an accident, at least that's what I thought, but it's not like that at all…

Rescued my dog with collars, harnesses and leashes

Love it I just got a 3 year old mixed breed. He wants to be on my lap all the time. It's not safe when I'm driving, so now we have a system. He's sitting in the back seat. I put on his seat belt and fasten him to his "seat belt". It wraps securely around the headrest and keeps it in place in the back seat. It also protects it from sudden stops. Last week, while driving on an old dual carriageway, a truck in the oncoming lane decided it was going to overtake. The problem was that I was on my…

Good concept if it fits

I really wanted to like this because I don't want my fluffy little one to be everywhere when she's in the car with me. If she could, she would happily sit on my lap while I drive. I thought it would be a good way to keep it in place on the passenger side. That would be IF IT IS SUITABLE. I bought it because it was supposed to be adjustable, but it's still too long. I made it as short as possible and it still allows her to get to my side of the car. I was trying to find a way to shorten it and…

Great restraint for the safety of my dogs!

Me and my three chihuahuas come to our cabin for 5 hours every couple of weeks. I've always worried that some of them will try to jump out of the car when I stop for gas or when I take them out of the car to rest on the way. They were always good dogs, they stayed in the back seat, but I really wanted an extra guarantee that they would stay. On one of my last rides I had to hit the brakes and my little boys got blown out of my back and that was the last straw - I couldn't let anything happen to

So far, so good!

Update: Please keep an eye on your dog with this. I was in my parked car for a few minutes and there were a lot of distractions so my dog in the back seat was moving a lot and was confused about it and he choked her. I was able to quickly detach the part that attaches to the back of the seat belt. So far no complaints. I bought this because my other harness, which buckled like a human, bothered my dog and she kept getting tangled in it, along with her leash on the harnesses. Today was the first

It looks like a death trap!

Loved the concept but in practice FORGOTTEN! Didn't work very well so save your money. where to start First. my dog got entangled in it and nearly hung himself! He has long legs and is tall. He was able to climb over it multiple times, even after being adjusted to the shortest possible length! Second, it is very thin, not strong at all, and fragile. My dog panicked when he got caught in it and tried to chew his way out by quickly chewing it in half! Third, it's a death trap for dogs and humans!
