Perfect fit. good valve insert. It should be "hand tight" but check the seal with some sort of R134a detector (I used an electronic one) after you've installed and charged the refrigerant just to make sure you've tightened it enough and/ or have done get no lemon. [PS to the original review: After an initial "hand-on" install of this kernel and testing/leaks at this point, I came back a few days later, tested again, found a small leak again on two separate occasions, and tightened it up and it works something up both times. I will be doing this every few days until they either stop getting positive leak tests or it is confirmed that the entire valve body needs to be replaced like I did with the high side valve.]
