These microfiber cloths are very thick and difficult to hold. It's one of the softest fabrics on the market, but its thickness definitely makes it difficult to work with. I would only use them with a quick detail spray or other protectant that wipes off easily. The Rag Company lists a use for nail polish remover, but this is by no means practical for nail polish remover. To remove the nail polish I would use a 500gsm cloth which is very soft, easy to use and perfect for both removing the nail polish and applying and removing fine details.
