Arrived the next day, carefully packaged as there is a glass cylinder in the center of the garland. It runs on 3 AA batteries which I've only changed twice since I got it in early December and left it on 24 hours a day. The "cage" is very strong, as is the garland of fairy lights that winds and sits around this glass cylinder. As you can see I have it right outside the window from the side of our house so it can be seen by the neighbors who walk themselves and/or their dogs in the evenings and after dark. And so many people have complimented me on it, saying things like "it looks so warm and inviting," "the light is bright enough to illuminate the sidewalk." The reason I/we enjoy watching this is that it's not a bright 100w bulb that gets in the way of walking at night and gazing up at the night sky.The fairy lights are soft but bright enough, almost seem like they could sparkle and almost enchant.See it this way nice out the window.And it's flush with the windowsill which I think adds to the ambiance I wanted as it sits in the dining room window about 2 1/2 to 3 feet off the ground on the side of our home and a long stretch of sidewalk as we sit on the corner of the property so people realize they can see the warm light shining through the window even before they pass our property as there is also a park behind us on the other side If this ever blows through, am I'm not sure I have enough mechanical skills to attach a fresh new garland of fairy lights to the base where it goes through the metal where the battery compartment is. So, I love them so much and have had so many compliments on the flashlight that I am sure I will be purchasing a replacement from this seller.
