Review on Queen Size Sheets Luxury Microfiber by Tabu Little

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pay attention to the washing instructions. The elastic stays in place even when I rotate my adjustable bed. There are 3 sets.

I have used two sets of these sheets (purple and charcoal) for a year. I just bought a third set in black and now all three are nested together for my adjustable bed. To be honest I figured for the price the first set of sheets would be unraveling or fraying in no time. I was so pleasantly surprised. When my husband and I got married we used t-shirt sheets. We then switched to very high thread count cotton sheets. I expected it to be a disappointment but split sheets are hard to come by so I was willing to take the risk. SO glad I did. It's everything I wanted in a shared bed set (and I can't tell you how grateful I am to learn that two twins pushed together is called a bed - not even the mattress store told us that). Before I knew what they were called I bought two sheets with an elastic band and then paid a fortune for a separate sheet. I live in Southwest Florida (two hours south of Tampa) so I need sheets that don't make me feel hot/sweaty. They are incredibly soft and whatever the temperature, my husband and I feel comfortable in these sheets - and I often get cold when it's warm, even in the hot summer months here. I can't of course talk about how you feel about those of you where it's always cold. A REALLY IMPORTANT WASHING NOTE: There was some confusion at first: wash cold or warm because the product description is contradictory. There is a *graphic* here on Revain that says: <<Hand or machine wash recommended in hot or lukewarm water with mild detergent>> But the actual product description and reviewers who have no problem washing in cold water (im opposite to everything). You think when you think of washing sheets from sweat or whatever. Machine wash cold, dries quickly on low. Hypoallergenic, antibacterial, environmentally friendly and resistant to dust mites. >>Even if you open the package, the instructions say it can be washed in cold water. If you have a "My Cycle" washing machine like mine, set that as the leaf setting. I use "my cycle" specifically for these sheets and have had no problems with it. The stains from it wash off very easily in the washing machine and I don't even see the shadow of where the stains were. I wash them for 50 minutes simply because I'm used to warm washing sheets, so I think the more time they mess around in the detergent the better. There is strong tape on the pulled up sheets that never unfolded even when I adjusted my bed to sit and lifted the foot end of the bed where the bed is at an odd angle. This is where I expected cheap sheets to tear. nope Didn't happen. I also have a mattress about a foot deep. As other reviewers have pointed out, yes, these sheets are thin. I expected them to wear out quickly, but they didn't. Neither lilac (a beautiful deep shade of purple) nor charcoal (note that my photos are in charcoal, not silver). I love these sheets and have recommended them to others I know with adjustable beds. I sent my mom a set and she thought I spent more than double what I did. EDIT: It's August 2020 and I've had new Karilohi mattresses since February - all bamboo (yes, totally recommended). We still have the same three sets of sheets in circulation. Sometimes when I fully adjust the bed the top edge of the sheet starts to pull. . ... I hear a noise, but it never really showed up. So moving from Beauty Rest to the Cariloha Resort has had some impact on how well the sheet "grips" when I adjust the bed. We adjust the sheets a bit and we didn't do that before buying these mattresses. Just a very small problem. We will be buying our son next door a full size Cocoon Chill (Sealy) mattress (he had twins) and he will be buying sheets here to match this one. EDIT MAY 2021: Bought red full size sheets for my son's bed. No issues, but I wasn't expecting that, especially since it doesn't have an adjustable foot. By the way, if you like sleeping, check out this particular bed - it does NOT keep you warm either. As for my bed, we still have these three sets in rotation. Purple is my favorite simply because the color is so beautiful. . .and they are STILL beautiful.
