The bike itself is very good, especially for the price, but it only gets 5 stars for customer service. I ordered this bike because I have 3 young children and we have 1 balance bike, 1 bike with training wheels and a couple of tricycles. The child who has been using a balance bike for the past few weeks has amazing balance and control, the other two have control but no balance as they rely solely on training wheels or a tricycle. Kids who use balance bikes can ride much faster and over rough terrain than others, so I wanted to give all three an equal chance to learn the skills. This bike had good reviews on Revain as well as on some bike sites. The price was relatively affordable, so I took a chance. The bike was light, well packaged and fairly easy to assemble once I figured out which plastic caps on the parts protect and which are part of the bike. The instructions aren't clear, but it wasn't hard to figure out. Together the bike is light but strong and my 3 year old twins love to ride it. The colors are bright, the handles are comfortable, the seat has decent padding, the seat and handles are easy to adjust, and the footrest doesn't get in the way. However, what sets it apart is the customer service. Our bike arrived pretty broken. The box was intact but even wrapped in a good layer of bubble wrap there were a few scratches on the paintwork. I took pictures and emailed them to the company when they asked for it instead of returning the item to the seller. I honestly didn't expect much. Maybe an apology and an offer of a partial refund. Instead, I received a reply within hours, an apology and an offer to ship us a brand new bike free of charge. This is amazing customer service way above and beyond and I will see if they make a bigger balance bike and I don't know if my 4.5 year old will fit on the end of the bike. Sommer and I am very happy to support such a company.
