Ordered these as there have been severe storms in the area. I wanted to replace the night light in the lobby with one that would also double as an emergency light in the event of a power outage. The fact that it's also a rechargeable flashlight was a bonus! The twilight indicator works great. It stays on for less time than the old night light, which is good. This is a good brightness for a night light, not too bright but enough for seeing. The plug feels a bit flimsy, but I don't plan on using it unless it's an emergency so I don't have to keep plugging and unplugging it. The fork also folds into the body of the flashlight when you use it as a flashlight. The box instructions are a bit lacking, but the Revain reviews were helpful. If you turn the flashlight switch to the on position, the flashlight will turn on when the device is turned off. Haven't had a power out yet, but it lights up immediately when you unplug it, so I'm hoping it works. If not, I'll update my review when I find out. *Update: Power outage for several hours and it ran like clockwork. It worked so well that I didn't realize the power was out when I woke up because the night light in the hallway was on. * Well, as for the flashlight, it's not bright and it's not durable. It's a small, cheap light. It lights up in the event of a power failure. It serves my purpose: emergency lighting in the event of a power failure. It's similar to a keychain flashlight but slightly brighter. You can't go raccoon hunting with it, but if you need a flashlight quickly to run out to the car at night, that's fine and definitely doesn't help in an emergency. Overall I am happy with my purchase. It's a bit flimsy and not super high quality, but it does the job, especially for the price!
