US version, worked straight away with my SIM card

. At the time of my order it was not clear in the item description whether it was the US or international version. I confirmed with the seller at Multilink Solutions Inc. that they supply the US version and that's what I got. The international version will not work in the US, at least not very well, since the modem uses different frequencies. I used a Google Fi SIM card, which connected automatically without having to enter APN information or a PIN. However, almost any medium should work. The device is undoubtedly very directional and gave me a great signal at my remote location. When using Fi the SIM is the Micro version and this radio requires a Mini SIM. Order an adapter kit like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013SI582U/ As always, Mikrotik did a great job with the design. Great software, well built hardware and everything worked exactly as described. Please note that Mikrotik OS is NOT for BEGINNERS. There are no wizards or fancy websites to help you set it up. You must have a deep understanding of networks at a fundamental level if you hope to make a significant change. However, it comes with a great default configuration that's ready to go if you don't care about backing up or updating your device. Inside there are two SIM slots and two Ethernet ports. The case has cutouts for cable entry and the flap fits snugly. Includes pole mount and clamp, power injector and power supply. Photos of the insides are attached to this review.
