I have been using powder free nitrile gloves in the kitchen, lab, brewery and studio for years and I can honestly say I have never had to think about how to make them smell because every smell, they had was faint and familiar, regardless of brand or style. These gloves absolutely smell like chemicals. I ordered them about a month ago when I ran out of another brand; Tonight I ran out, opened a new box with these gloves on and started kneading bread. After a few moments I started to wonder if my dough had picked up any nasty bacteria because of the gross chemical smell coming from the dough. I realized it wasn't my money - now wasted - it came from those gloves.
