This product and length is the gold standard for home cassette recording. The sound is much "warmer" than CDs and there is less hiss if you buy quality equipment and keep it clean. I found that I could listen to music longer on these cassettes than on CDs. The 90-minute duration is reliable and stands up to many, many repetitions. Avoid the 110 and 120 minute lengths of this product as the tape is thinner and the life of these longer lengths is significantly shorter.
