I needed a good paper cutter to cut 1/4" to 1/8" edges on multiple sheets of paper. Too bad I didn't take the reviews of this paper cutter's inability to cut paper more seriously. I thought that those few negative reviews were a bit excessive and that the user might not have been holding the blades properly on the grid, but I should have given their complaints more weight. I didn't use this cutter right away so I didn't have time to return it. It cuts really smooth and handles thicker stacks of paper which would make this trimmer perfect for my needs. So if you absolutely need to cut more sheets of paper evenly, please don't buy this trimmer. If a clean cut is not important to your needs, this trimmer can easily handle 20 sheets of paper. It takes too much time and brain cells to try to align multiple leaves at the perfect angle to compensate for the perpendicularity of the grid. Give it two stars because it could definitely be a great trimmer if the mesh was straight. Maybe this is just a defect in some trimmers, but most likely not. If so, then you're just lucky you got a defective one. Honestly this trimmer has it all: the weight, the design, the paper handling, the ease of cutting the blade but uneven paper cuts are AMAZING!
