Worked great the first few uses and saved time when I was making an Asian salad with green papaya. However, after four uses, the serrated blade seemed to detach from the slicer blade and didn't cut all the way through. I ended up with thin broccoli leaves with lines that the serrated blade didn't cut through. I had to use a knife to cut the broccoli into strands. If I could do it again I wouldn't buy this expensive device but I would buy a much cheaper vegetable julienner.
