Broke with the slightest effort

Looked like a perfect replacement but broke during installation. I wasn't even trying much when it suddenly got lost and no matter how hard I twisted it wouldn't tighten so I took it off. Then I realized it was broken and the piece was still stuck inside. I had to use one of those striped screw kits to get it out. Thank God I didn't damage the car.
