The perfect product for any user!

Tires were worn out, so I swapped them out for 205/55/16 94w Hankook Ventus V12 Evo1. The Evo1s were significantly noisier and stiffer. But the road was not abandoned. Axle box access was quite difficult from the inside of the vehicle (an Octavia 1.8 with a manual transmission). I got up to speeds of almost 200 kilometers per hour on these with no issues. The noise is the only negative aspect. When they were utterly exhausted, it was a stupid idea to drive quickly in the rain. In general, I found Evo2 to be quieter and gentler. However, this has no bearing on their functional features; they remain the same as in evo1. It started out OK, but now that you know what to expect, you may react to taxiing in a more considered way, however silly that initially may have seemed. The 94w index gives me hope that everything will be alright; I can't speak to its durability just yet, but time will tell. Also, evo1 was able to handle the Hong Kong streets without any problems; the disks flexed to their limits and the rubber gave way without a problem. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to exceed 150 mph because of the weather. However, I am used to driving in the rain at speeds of 100-120 mph. And why not, it's faster when it's wet. In short, it's a cool item, therefore you should definitely grab it.

Pros
  • The handling was superb. What a dry road this is; you're going to injure yourself! and eerily silent.
Cons
  • It has not been made public yet. Soft, perhaps, but I feel like I'm picking at this already.
