Review on Logitech H540 USB Headset: High Performance for Windows and Mac, Skype Certified by Leslie Villanueva

False advertising, Overpriced, Poor quality for the money

When I buy Logitech products I usually expect a very good product for the money. This product is not the case. It is very overpriced for what it is and does not live up to what is advertised. I explain more below. The microphone quality is very poor and it's far from plug and play. I spent a few minutes correcting the input settings on the microphone so that it works at a reasonable volume. The headset picks up an extreme amount of background noise, picks up typing noises and fan noise on the microphone during use - The headset itself is extremely uncomfortable. The cushions are very hard and the headset is very tight. Wearing them for a long period of time almost hurts. The sound quality of the headphones is very poor. It mainly emphasizes high-pitched sounds, which makes it difficult to overhear voice chats. Listening to music has a similar problem with voices in song lyrics. If I were to buy a headset for $15 or even $25 you would expect poor mic and sound quality, but as this product sells for $35 and the regular price of $50 this is unacceptable . Do not buy this headset.
