Volume Buttons

Headset is acceptable but not recommended for professional conversations such as interviews. The location of the mute and volume buttons on the headset is not optimal. Each time the keys are pressed, the click is loud enough to be heard even by the person on the other end of the line. The noise-cancelling feature might be a misnomer, as both the person wearing the headset and the person on the other end of the line can hear background noise when speaking, sometimes very clearly. This is…

This item does not work with my Dell XPS 8700. I have reinstalled the drivers in all locations in the 'Device Manager' for sound and for all USB root hubs, ran sfc scannow as administrator , ran the troubleshooter in the Settings app and tried all USB ports, front, top and back. I also tried reinstalling the files on System32 in case they got corrupted but was told to go to the original manufacturer's installer. Note that this headset works with my Asus Zenbook, but I have a travel headset for…

Not a bad headset but didn't last long

I bought it in March 2020 and have been using it daily in my home office ever since. I recorded myself with them and they have really good sound quality, both what you hear and how your voice sounds. Unfortunately, they only lasted about 18 months. The headset has a button you can use to mute and an indicator on the cord to let you know your audio is muted. The lights went out after about a year, at 18 months I was having problems with my computer realizing they were plugged in. Now September…

SIDELINE SETTINGS UNDER THE SPEAKERS.

When you plug them in, for some reason they default to a setting underneath your computer's speakers (even though they're headphones, I know) called SIDE LINE, which means you're constantly echoing yours through the mic Listen . It drove me crazy Nobody knew what it was called or how to turn it off. I found a forum thread about setting up streaming over 10 years ago and found a word in the sidebar that made me want to figure out how to turn it off. Makes me mad. Also: -Hot. (As written in other

False advertising, Overpriced, Poor quality for the money

When I buy Logitech products I usually expect a very good product for the money. This product is not the case. It is very overpriced for what it is and does not live up to what is advertised. I explain more below. The microphone quality is very poor and it's far from plug and play. I spent a few minutes correcting the input settings on the microphone so that it works at a reasonable volume. The headset picks up an extreme amount of background noise, picks up typing noises and fan noise on the…

So comfortable! Great sound :)

Bought for work. The headphones are *really* comfortable. I wear glasses, so after about 2 hours I have to take off the headphones and put them back on. I'm beginning to feel a dull ache where the glasses meet the headphones on the side of my head. Volume controls and mute button on the right are great features. However, my favorite feature is the microphone on the boom. It fits perfectly between earphone and headband part. It looks well protected in place and I can lay my headphones perfectly…

Looking for the BEST USB headset with mic - one that works.

Looking for the BEST USB Headset with Mic - one that will work RIGHT AWAY with no troubleshooting and is comfortable to wear for hours - look no further - I've spent many hours researching the Going to the store trying out headsets and dealing with noise issues and other little things with OTHER headphones I've tried before ordering Klipsich and a few other big brands to find out they all either have a connection issue or NO USB connectivity or the mic doesn't work when headphones work…

Big setback from the previous H530

Unfortunately, my previous Logitech H530 headset stopped working. I really liked this headset. Unfortunately, this new version of the headset is far inferior to the H530. What's wrong with the headset: - Thick hard cable that rubs on everything. Because the cable is attached to the side of the microphone, any movement or vibration is transmitted to the microphone. You have to be absolutely still when speaking, otherwise you will hear boom, boom, boom at the other end. - The mute and volume…
