Wouldn't consider it universal unless you measured
I was stupid I thought universal means it fits any size but my washing machine is about 20 years old. I had to move it temporarily and needed a longer hose, this didn't fit, was too small. I was able to get it working, but only for a short time. The material and construction was well made, it just didn't fit.
