I just bought a Garmin 920xt and was looking for a secure handlebar mount for my two mountain bikes. The manual says there should be 2 different inserts/spacers to accommodate different size handlebars. Well, there is only 1 bet. There is very little flexibility in choosing the handlebar size for this mount unless you buy grommets yourself. For $40 you don't have to. More importantly, as other reviews have noted, the $40 yoke should have metal screw threads, not plastic. It's just that Garmin is cheapening a product that isn't cheap at all. Finally, at least on the Garmin 920xt, there is no distinct click, when you attach your device to this mount. as if this mount wasn't entirely compatible. Why do third-party quick release plates and mounts have a reassuring positive click when the device is rotated a quarter turn, but not this mount? It seems somewhat secure, but not nearly as secure as I expected, and I just don't trust it for my $400 Garmin 920xt. I will be returning these mounts and will review offers from BarFly, Zipp, and other third party vendors. A big mistake by Garmin in my opinion.
