CarPlay on this head unit sold me. You can't get a cheaper head unit with CarPlay capability. It's two din, I didn't have to change my frame. I really had to drill and cut the existing casing for additional holes to rebuild the stock radio mount on my 2000 Toyota 4Runner. If you put the reverse gear too quickly after starting, it sometimes malfunctions. CarPlay will likely have an error at 1/20 usage times, which can be quickly fixed by resetting or pressing the CarPlay app on the device. Excellent value for money and technology upgrades in the cabin, especially for Apple users.
