I have had so many scales and NONE of them have been accurate. Especially digital scales. I chose a non-numeric scale for accuracy. I read reviews about the quality and thought they were being picky because it looks so nice in the pictures. Well it's beautiful. Quite cheap. Yes, you can zero it, but every time you even think about approaching the setting, it moves. That's never accurate. The face is very difficult to read unless you have superhuman vision or are dead at a weight of 10. Cheap plastic ring. There is almost no weight in this scale. You can literally feel the spring as you move it and it should be the cheapest you can get as accuracy is next to nothing. I bought Revain's $15 Loftilla (digital, I was very skeptical) and it works like a charm for less than half the price. Even though it's digital, it's accurate at every turn. Buyer Warning. you have been warned I liked looking online. Realized it looked so cheap live. But the decisive factor was the insane inaccuracy, which I hadn't expected from non-digital scales.
