I am very happy with this multimeter. I'm an EE and have a number of home projects and I'm very impressed with this counter considering it's only $20. The manual gives specs and most measurements are within 2% which is pretty accurate for what I do. The temperature sensor has proven to be very useful. I didn't plan on using it at all, but I built a power supply and used a probe to check the temperature of the heatsink. I used this information to determine the correct timing to turn the fan on and off. The diode forward voltage meter is also very good, seems accurate. It's not autoranging, but it's really a matter of convenience. One could even argue that it's better because the response time is faster since the device doesn't have to be recalibrated for each measurement. Everyone complains about the continuous beep and it's pretty annoying. This does not eliminate bouncing. So when you touch the sensor, the meter squeaks for a second until it makes a solid sound. If the designers wanted to eliminate the continuity function bounce, they would have to include additional circuitry to automatically isolate the filter from all other measurements, which is very similar to autoranging, which this meter doesn't do, so it actually makes sense that this would be the case the case is the thing is a bit rough with the beep. My only complaint is that the maximum current sense setting of 200mA is tied to the normal voltage sense connector. Typically, all current measurements require the user to plug the probe into a different outlet, as is the case with the 10A setting on this meter. But 200mA can do a lot of damage to many circuits if you're not careful. So don't plug this thing into a hot circuit and start spinning the dial. You're shorting the circuit in at least one of the settings no matter how you wired the sensors. 20 Euros. Large display, pretty accurate, nice little stand, rubber bumpers all around, I'm really impressed with the construction considering the price. In many reviews people compare it to the Fluke and it's like comparing a reliable cheap sedan to a German luxury sport sedan so don't do it. One thing I would like to say in comparison to the Fluke is the plastic and rubber materials. They seem to be very durable but I haven't dropped them yet so we'll see.
